"pure focus fix" video pre processing

Looking for opinion, on a new raw video processing technique I would like to implement; This function is intended for planetary application but it may may prove useful for all video.

I call this "pure focus fix". Pure focus is not a standard sharpening tool, or wavelet. It is a process where pixels are shifted in 9 directions in an attempt to fix unique optical problems in a user's telescope / filter / camera combination.

The goal is to "fix" a flawed focus in a recorded video, before stacking frames.

Can I have more details ? there is a program or plugin. Or is it just under development ? maybe describe the principle of operation ?

it is still under development;  i am trying to get it implemented with the creator of ImPPG (GreatAttractor) software as a new update.

Here is a sample video of 10 frames which had the pure focus fix applied to the raw frames.  10 raw videos @ 1500 frames; with 3 iterations of pure focus applied.

It takes hours for video conversions on my old intel i5 quad core pc with 16 gigs of ram;   i will try on a 16 core computer with 64 gigs of ram to see if i can eliminate hours of video processing.
