  И по какой же иронии судьбы Вас занесло на уфологический конгресс? Означает ли это, что Ваше мнение об уфологии и уфологах (а заодно и о SETI) изменилось ?

Ну, во-первых, если перед тем, как жать на клаву и постить реплики, сначала почитать программу, то можно понять, что первый день был посвящён SETI, второй и третий -- уфологии и экзополитике.

А, во-вторых, это что -- криминал уже -- общение с людьми, которым интересно изучение НЛО ? Я впервые на таком Конгрессе и мне было очень интересно послушать выступления и попытаться составить собственное впечатление. Кое-какие выводы я для себя сделал...

В Италии с 7 по 9 октября проходил Первый международный симпозиум "Экзобиология, уфология и экзополитика". Симпозиум был организован итальянской уфологической организацией КУН совместно с Университетом Калабрии. За три дня работы в актовом зале университета было представлено 36 докладов. Первый день был полностью посвящён теме "СЕТИ и биоастрономия", и в этом разделе Россия была представлена д.ф.-м.н. А.Л.Зайцевым. 

В уфологической части было заявлено 5 итальянских докладов и 19 зарубежных (в порядке выступлений приглашённых докладчиков:  Ж.Бурдэ-Франция; О.Мессен-Бельгия; Н.Поп-Великобритания; Б.Шуринов; А.Гэвэрд-Бразилия; П.Дэвидс-режиссёр фильма "Розуэлл", США;Л.Кин-журналистка, США; К.Маммолити-Швейцария; А.Акдоган-Турция; К.Балдуччи-Ватикан; Дж.Коламине-нейропсихиатр,США; Б.Хопкинс-США; Р.Леир-США; М.Хеземанн-Германия; К.Алдеа-Румыния; М.Салла-США; С.Бэсит-США; Н.Дюпер-Хорватия; А.Чионетти-Аргентина/США). 

Моё выступление состояло из двух частей: "Уфология нуждается в защите от жуликов и дезинформаторов" и "Три фотографии Ю.Бортникова". 

Ближе к полуночи второго дня был показан документальный фильм об НЛО, снятый режиссёром швейцарского ТВ Г.Феррари. В обсуждении фильма участвовали О.Мессен и Б.Шуринов. 

Не ради рекламы! В ближайшие дни мой материал "Уфология нуждается в защите от жуликов и дезинформаторов" (на английском языке) будет размещён на "Чёрных страницах российской уфологии". Для этого необходимо перевести его из PowerPoint в .htm и разложить по соответствующим адресам. Частично это уже сделано по книге П.Стоунхилла-Ф.Мэнтла. Но лишь частично, так как разговор об этих "уфологах"-жуликах требует открытия дополнительных страниц.

Необходимо напомнить, что материал в PowerPoint показывает лишь тезисы доклада. То есть каждая страница развивается и дополняется в устной форме. Но устная часть мною не фиксировалась. Приходится довольствоваться тезисами.
 
Моё выступление по теме "Уфология нуждается в защите от жуликов и дезинформаторов" было полезным, поскольку для многих из моих коллег это  было поистине откровением, построенным только на фактах. Зарубежные коллеги проявили интерес к происходящему в российской уфологии, оболганной российскими и зарубежными доброхотами.

Точка зрения об уровне всех уфологических выступлений. Добрая половина могла бы вообще не выступать. Из оставшейся половины треть должна была подумать, о чём и как они собираются говорить. Одно выступление я бы номинировал на премию Кащенко. Этот кащенкист удивил не только меня. И я всё ещё размышляю, кто и почему финансирует этого американского дядю, катающегося с женой по конференциям.

Думаю, что про СЕТИ лучше расскажет ALZ.

The Conference Expanding the Space is organized by the Octubre Centre de Cultura Contemporania, in collaboration with Leonardo/Olats (http://www.olats.org), and the co-sponsoring of the International Academy of Astronautics (http://www.iaaweb.org), to coincide with the 57th International Astronautical Congress that takes place in Valencia,
Spain in October 2006.

Expanding the Space is conceived as an open forum where people, connoisseur or not, may meet to learn about the latest scientific issues, always trying to make them accessible to all publics. The conference will provide a singular location for those scientists interested in the intersection of science and art, as well as gather, display and catalyze all the artistic works born under this sign and inspired by Space.

The topics that will be addressed are :

1.Humankind in front of the mirror. A perspective of our own planet thanks to space missions. Cultural impact.

2. Climatic change. Its effects seen from outside.

3. Microgravity: the sensory experience of weightlessness.

4. Colonialism vs. exploration. Are space missions a new kind of colonialism?

5. The control of terrestrial biologics in the preparation for space missions.

Expanding the Space encourages people from all over the world to take part either in the conference and/or video exhibition.

The proposal must relate to one of the five defined topics : Humankind in front of the mirror, Climatic change, Microgravity, Colonialism vs. exploration and The control of terrestrial biologics in the preparation for space missions.

Proposals will be examined and selected by an Advisory Committee.

This committee will be formed by experts such as
