Y'all might be interested in the in-depth comparison in the French magazine,Ciel et Espace (Sky and Space): http://www.cieletespace.fr/ .They did an in-depth review of several eyepieces around 10mm and their conclusions were:TeleVue Delos #1@16 points out of 20 possible, TeleVue Ethos #2 @15 points, Pentax XW #3 @12 points, Nikon NAV 10-SW #4 @ 11 points, Takahashi 10-UW #5 @ 10.5 points,Celestron Luminos #6 @ 8 pointsTheir tests included resolution, chromaticism, and even wavefront analysis at more than one wavelength, and at f/3.5 and f/7 (would that we would see such tests in American magazines!).I was surprised to see the wavefront analysis on the last one.
I noticed this recently when using a 20 mm XW in my f/3.7 reflector (with Paracorr 1 installed). The field curvature was so severe that the outer 1/3 of the fov was markedly out of focus. I had thought that the Paracorr would fix this problem but it does not. In contrast, a 17.3 mm Delos works beautifully with the same setup.
В целом в почти в каждой теме предпочтение в изображении отдается Делосам, в эргономике - ПентаксамПричем сообщается что Пентаксы страдают кривизной поля, 10, 14 и 20
Ерунда какая то. Ну ладно, еще можно поспорить по аберрациям окуляров (хотя на глаз оба окуляра превосходны). Но эргономика и дизайн точно лучше у Делоса.

Интересно какие-нибудь сравнения иностранные делосов с ортоскопами найти. На фокусных около 5 например
22” f/4 (6mm ZAO-II at 383x) – All five members seen. I’ll focus on component D and E as the first three are blazing. This observation was made on the first night.Component D (PGC 60, mag 17.2, 0.5x0.3’) – Very faint, very small round glow held 100% of the time with averted vision.Component E (PGC 57, mag 17.7, 0.3x0.2’) – Very faint, very small round glow held almost 100% of the time with averted vision.On the second night, TeleVue rep John Rhodes loaned me a 6mm Delos as I heard great things about it. I used it for about an hour and gave it back, so someone else can borrow it. Used this group to do a quick comparison between the 6mm ZAO-II, Delos and Ethos. I focused on component D and E as they are pretty dim and nearly threshold objects with the Zeiss. This is what I found. The Zeiss as described above. With the Delos, I could hold component E about 75% of the time and still could hold component D 100% of the time. Now with the Ethos, I could hold component E about half the time and component D less than 100%, about 90% of the time. Interesting observation and at least two other observers confirmed my observations.
